What We Took Away from the Oracle Maintenance Summit 2026
The energy at the Oracle Maintenance Summit 2026 in Houston was energizing and grounded in real, operational conversations.
Over two days, maintenance leaders, IT teams, and Oracle users came together to talk about what’s actually happening on the ground — what’s working, what’s breaking, and where gaps in execution still exist.
As the discussions unfolded, a few themes consistently surfaced, not as abstract ideas but as everyday operational challenges:
- Managing asset reliability
- Scaling maintenance programs
- Improving technician productivity
- Aligning IT and operations teams
These weren’t isolated challenges. They pointed to a broader gap between systems and execution.
A special thanks to Apps Associates for organizing the event, and to TPC Group for hosting and offering a valuable plant tour that brought many of these conversations into real-world context.
For us at Inyxa, it wasn’t just about showcasing Inyxa EasyPick for Oracle Enterprise Asset Management. It was about listening to user challenges and identifying where we can close the execution gap.

Where Things Start to Break Down
A lot of the most honest conversations weren’t about strategy. They were about execution.
- Work orders that don’t get updated until the end of a shift.
- Inspections that stay on paper longer than they should.
- Inventory movements that lag behind reality.
Individually, these feel like small delays. But together, they create something bigger. A gap between what the system says is happening and what’s actually happening on the floor.
And that gap shows up in ways teams feel every day. Slower response times, missed signals, and decisions made on incomplete data.
Closing the Gap Between System and Execution
With Inyxa EasyPick, the focus is not just on digitizing maintenance tasks.
At its core, the gap exists between what the ERP system records and what’s actually happening on the floor. Maintenance jobs, WIP tracking, work order and sales order picking, material receipts, and inventory counts are all physical activities, but they don’t always get captured in the system in real time.
Inyxa EasyPick bridges this execution gap by connecting every action on the floor back to the system in real time, giving frontline workers the ability to:
- Complete work orders directly from a handheld device
- Capture inspections as they happen
- Track materials and parts in motion
- Receive real-time updates and task notifications
This is where systems and execution start to align.

EasyPick: A Practical Path Forward
Why does closing the execution gap start to matter now?
Across inbound, inventory, quality, outbound, manufacturing, and maintenance, the challenge isn’t a lack of systems. It’s ensuring those systems operate effectively on the ground.
When transactions are captured in real time, the system starts to reflect reality more accurately. That makes the data far more useful for what comes next, whether that’s better decisions, faster response times, or scaling operations.
This is where EasyPick fits in. By combining mobility, a modern interface, and real-time data capture without complex integrations, it helps extend systems like Oracle Enterprise Asset Management into real-world execution.
If this is a challenge you’re working through, we’d be glad to continue the conversation.
